As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping and strengthening security across products, platforms, and services, working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to reduce risk and embed security by design. Reporting to the Principal Security Architect, you will influence security strategy, champion best practices, and help build resilient solutions that protect both Lenovo and its customers worldwide.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDevelop and execute cybersecurity strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate current and emerging cyber threats across the organization.\nAct as a trusted security advisor, providing expert guidance and constructive challenge to ensure cyber risks are effectively managed and aligned with business objectives.\nPartner closely with IT, engineering, and business stakeholders to implement a multi-layered security approach that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and services.\nSupport product, design, service, and operations teams by defining security requirements and ensuring secure implementation throughout the full lifecycle of products and services.\nCollaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and Information Security teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and application architectures.\nPromote secure development practices by championing secure coding standards, conducting code reviews, and identifying vulnerabilities early in the development process.\nInvestigate, analyze, and support the resolution of security incidents, providing subject matter expertise and risk-based recommendations to strengthen organizational resilience.\nDevelop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and playbooks, support audits and certification activities, review penetration testing and vulnerability assessment results, and drive continuous improvement aligned with industry best practices.\nWhat You Will Need:\nProven experience in cybersecurity operations, ideally within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or fast-paced technology-driven environment, with a strong understanding of cyber risk management.\nIndustry-recognized cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or an equivalent qualification demonstrating advanced security expertise.\nStrong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and experience supporting their implementation and continuous improvement.\nHands-on experience with security technologies, tools, monitoring platforms, and SIEM solutions, including incident detection, response, investigation, and reporting.\nSolid technical background in security operations, infrastructure, cloud, or network security, with the ability to assess and reduce security risks across complex environments.\nDeep understanding of security best practices and techniques used to identify, prevent, mitigate, and respond to cyber threats and vulnerabilities.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities, with experience developing security policies and practices while balancing long-term strategic planning with immediate operational priorities.\nWhat We Offer:\nAn international team with a high focus on Gender Diversity\nEmployee Assistance Program, e.g., for psychological, legal & financial consultancy\nYou are joining a company that prioritizes sustainable solutions like CO2 Offset, Asset Recovery Services, and the Lenovo Certified Refurbished portfolio\nAccess to training for personal development - Internal E-learning Development Platform Available for Employees \nMentorship program\nFor candidates in Slovakia only: The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is 37,800 - 50,400 EUR per year.
