Public Safety agencies, alongside Departments of Transportation, receive alerts on the LENS Detect dashboard about Disabled Vehicles, Stalled Big Rigs, and Pedestrians on Freeway. A dispatcher reviews and validates the detection, and then dispatches an officer to the scene to assist the person in need - resulting in either preventing an accident or saving a life.\nCBS LA recently did a three minute TV feature that succinctly captures what LENS is doing with Public Safety Agencies in one of the largest traffic capitals in the world:\nCHP LA Communications Center using AI to prevent accidents before they happen\nRole & Responsibilities\nAs the Business Operations Lead, you seek transformational change. You do not accept the status quo that accidents are an accepted inevitability, or that they just happen. Instead, you believe when the root cause of an accident can be known in advance, the accident can and should be prevented. You work with fellow Preventers that share this core belief, using LENS to prevent accidents and save lives.\nYour responsibilities are:\nDesign, build, and scale the operational foundation across every function of LENS.\n\nEstablishing operational excellence as a cultural standard - developing the systems, processes, and rhythms that enable a lean team to execute with compounding impact as the company grows.\n\nDriving cross-functional execution on strategic priorities, ensuring alignment, clear ownership, and on-time delivery across all teams.\n\nLeading annual and quarterly operational planning, including resource allocation and goal-setting - and running the operating cadences that keep the leadership team focused and aligned.\n\nIdentifying operational bottlenecks and building durable solutions - not workarounds - so every system gets stronger over time.\n\nMeasuring daily, monthly, and annual impact through pre-accident detections, accidents prevented, and lives saved.\n\nMindset, Principles, and Skills & Experience\nYour mindset is grounded in:\nThe company is a system.
