Role Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on manufacturing leader to head our Frames Manufacturing operations. The role will oversee end-to-end manufacturing-from raw material planning and production to quality assurance and process excellence-ensuring world-class product quality, speed, and efficiency at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations for frames across multiple facilities, ensuring alignment with global production goals, quality standards, and cost targets.

• Build and execute a multi-year roadmap to scale capacity, productivity, and automation in line with Lenskart’s global growth.

• Drive operational excellence through lean practices, TPM, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 adoption.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Merchandising teams to ensure manufacturability and timely launches of new collections.

• Oversee planning, procurement, and maintenance functions to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Build and develop high-performing plant leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and labor standards.

• Partner with international teams to benchmark global best practices and bring innovation into Lenskart’s frame manufacturing ecosystem.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale operations.

• Strong exposure to precision manufacturing (eyewear, electronics, auto components, or consumer durables preferred).

• Proven track record of scaling capacity, implementing lean systems, and delivering cost and quality improvements.

• Deep understanding of materials, processes, and quality systems related to metal and acetate frames.

• Technologically forward mindset - comfortable driving automation, digital manufacturing, and process analytics.

• Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
