Engineering\nOptimize queries, indexes, and workloads using advanced profiling tools across MySQL, MongoDB, MSSQL, and BigQuery.\nTune InnoDB internals, buffer pools, shard keys, working sets, and query execution plans.\nResolve bottlenecks across CPU, memory, and I/O.\nImplement advanced monitoring and alerting (PMM, Ops Manager, Grafana, Datadog).\nOperational Excellence & Automation\nAutomate backup/recovery (XtraBackup, mysqldump/mysqlpump, Ops Manager, filesystem snapshots, MSSQL native tools).\nChampion Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes Operators).\nImplement Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines using Debezium and integrate with downstream systems.\nEnforce strong security: authentication, authorization, encryption, auditing.\nConduct foundations in Linux/Unix, networking (DNS, TCP/IP), and distributed systems.\nProficiency in Python, Bash, or JavaScript for automation and tooling.\nClean Git practices and strong software engineering discipline.\nDatabases\nDeep expertise in MySQL and MongoDB.\nProven experience with HA/DR setups, replication, and performance tuning.\nBackup/recovery expertise with XtraBackup, mongodump, Ops Manager, MSSQL native tools.\nWorking knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and BigQuery.\nExperience building and operating CDC pipelines with Debezium.\nInfrastructure & Tooling\nInfrastructure as Code using Terraform (required).\nConfiguration and automation using Ansible/Chef (preferred).\nCI/CD integration with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.\nObservability & Reliability\nMetrics and alerting: PMM, Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager.\nTracing/APM: Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry.\nIncident management experience (PagerDuty or
