The Landscaper collaborates with team members, follows safety protocols, maintains accurate work records, and adapts to seasonal landscaping demands.\nThis position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, knowledge of plants and landscaping practices, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.\n* serving the King of Prussia, Phoenixville, Coatesville, and Chester, PA*\nCore Responsibilities\nMow turf at commercial properties using zero-turn and/or walk-behind mowers, maintaining clean lines and consistent cut height.\nString trim along walkways, beds, fences, and other areas mowers can't reach.\nPull and/or spray weeds in beds, curbs, and hardscape areas.\nOperate backpack and walk-behind blowers to clear clippings, leaves, and debris from turf and hard surfaces.\nPrune shrubs to maintain healthy growth and a clean, professional appearance.\nPlant flowers and other seasonal plantings per property design plans.\nFollow site safety protocols and property-specific instructions at each stop.\nMaintain and perform basic upkeep on equipment (blades, filters, fuel, etc.)\nRequired Competencies\nPrior landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred.\nZero-turn and/or walk-behind mower experience strongly preferred.\nComfortable operating string trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.\nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift/carry up to 75 lbs.\nValid driver's license required.\nReliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew.\nEducation & Experience\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum 1+ year of related outdoor work, landscaping or grounds maintenance, equipment operation, or facilities maintenance experience.\nPhysical ability to lift minimum 50 pounds regularly; capable of performing labor in cold or hot weather conditions for extended periods.\nAbility to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by weather events and client needs.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality work.\nPreferred:\n2+ years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience. \nValid driver's license with clean driving record and no major traffic violations.\nExperience operating zero-turn and/or walk-behind mowers on commercial properties.\nMechanical ability and basic troubleshooting skills.\nCertification or training in pesticide/herbicide application, if applicable to your weed control process.\nWork Environment/Physical & Visual Demands\nThis position works outdoors for the full shift with a variable schedule Monday to Friday and sometimes weekends, typically within standard hours; overtime may be necessary or required. \nThis position requires extensive contact with people, and local travel required to client locations. \nPhysical Demands: Lifting/Carrying; Frequently lifts and carries landscaping equipment, bagged materials, and supplies. Pushing/Pulling; Frequently pushes and pulls mowers, carts, and other equipment. Standing/Walking; Constantly stands and walks, including on uneven or sloped terrain, for the entire shift. Bending/Stooping/Kneeling; Frequently bends, stoops, and kneels to plant, weed, and perform ground-level tasks. Reaching; Frequently reaches to trim, prune, and operate equipment at varying heights. Balancing; Maintains balance on slopes, uneven ground, around moving equipment and heavy work, requiring lifting up to 50lbs. \nVisual Demands: Visual acuity to perform activities such as depth perception and peripheral vision to safely operate machinery near people, vehicles and obstacles. \nEnvironmental Conditions: This position is subject to be performed primarily outdoors at commercial properties in varying conditions (heat, cold, rain).
