Make every improvement count.\nAt LEO Pharma in Dublin, we are looking for an experienced Engineering Technician who thrives on solving technical challenges, reducing downtime, and ensuring equipment performs reliably in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.\nIf you enjoy hands-on maintenance, continuous improvement, and being part of a team where precision and collaboration matter every day, this could be your next great move.\nYour Role\nAs an Engineering Technician within our Technical Services function, you will be a key member of the Maintenance Team, supporting site operations across Fill/Pack or Bulk/Utilities maintenance activities. Your main objective will be to complete maintenance activities to high standards, ensuring equipment availability, GMP compliance, safety, and smooth production performance.\nYou will work closely with operations and other departments to diagnose issues, maintain equipment, and contribute to continuous improvements that optimise performance and reduce downtime.\nYour primary tasks will include:\nTroubleshooting breakdowns, and completing repairs to agreed standards and run rates.\nCompleting preventive maintenance activities and maintaining accurate GMP documentation, including work orders, logbooks, training records, and plant data books.\nUsing CMMS to generate, plan, schedule, update, and close work orders, including spare parts information and equipment history.\nSupporting operations teams and cross-functional partners in resolving equipment, raw material, or packaging-related issues.\nIdentifying and contributing to machine improvements and continuous improvement projects that increase equipment effectiveness.\nYou will also support technical training, participate in shift handovers, assist in maintaining appropriate spare parts stock, and operate relevant computer-based systems such as BMS, ePAS4, MyDoc, WinCC, FTView as required.\nFlexibility and cross-training will be important, as the role may involve supporting maintenance activities across different areas of the site.\nYour Qualifications\nTo succeed in this role, you bring significant technical maintenance capability, experience working with regulated processes, and a solid understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), GEP (Good Engineering Practice), safety procedures, and accurate documentation.\nYou are comfortable diagnosing equipment issues, working with maintenance systems, and supporting reliable production in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.\nWe are looking for candidates who have:\n A recognised apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline is required - supported by the appropriate trade certificates, e.g. National Craft Certificate or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fitting, maintenance, or similar.\nExperience in engineering maintenance within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated environment.\nPractical knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), work orders, preventive maintenance, and maintenance planning.\nUnderstanding of cGMP requirements, safety standards, change control, and documentation practices.\nExperience troubleshooting machinery and supporting equipment performance improvements and ensuring corrective and preventive maintenance is actioned.\nExposure to software systems to support maintenance, equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and GMP documentation, such as BMS, ePAS4, MyDoc, WinCC, FTView, or equivalent platforms.\nQualification in LEAN manufacturing is desirable, or experience within this environment is beneficial\nAs a person, you are proactive, practical, and solution oriented. You enjoy working with others, and take pride in doing things right first time. You are output-focused, safety-conscious, and understand the importance of accurate records in a regulated industry.\nYour New Team\nYou will join the Technical Services team in Dublin and become part of a skilled Maintenance Team supporting key manufacturing operations.
