Commercial landscape and snow removal experience required. *\nThe Site Operations Manager provides leadership, direction, oversight and responsibility within a large Fortune 500 corporate campus.\nCore Responsibilities\nProvide daily, AM site inspections, weather/condition reports and operational plans for service.\nExecute, direct, service delivery. Manage active storms, pre and post storm plan and communicate to all stake holders\nPlow, de-ice, clearing support.\nRead, Understand and Implement detailed facilities maintenance Scopes of Work and Service Level Agreements.\nFacilitate communications in the field between team members, Caliber Operations Managers, Caliber Service Management Affiliates, client location.\nManage the client; up to and including client Regional Vice Presidents.\nConduct Service Validations.\nTrain and guide vendors as required.\nProvide guidance and feedback to Caliber Service Management.\nMaintains Quality Control Reports.\nResolve customer problems by applying resources as necessary.\nEngage and entertain the customer as appropriate.\nConduct training and presentations concerning scope of work to site personnel and providers.\nFoster a positive team environment.\nEnsure confidentiality of internal and external data.\nPerform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.\nResponsibilities frequently require emergency support, mobilization and extended engagement (weekends/after-hours/holidays); scheduled and non-scheduled including but not limited to property damage and snow emergencies.\nSafety, Compliance & Communication\nAdhere strictly to all safety regulations, guidelines, and company policies while operating equipment and working in challenging weather conditions.\nEnsure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including helmets, gloves, protective eyewear, and cold weather gear as required.\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and team members to receive assignments, report completed tasks, provide updates on conditions, and escalate issues or hazards.\nMaintain accurate records of work performed including dates, times, areas cleared, materials used, and equipment hours using company verification app.\nParticipate in training sessions related to safe snow operations, equipment handling, emergency response protocols, and company procedures.\nCollaborate with other crew members, equipment operators, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective operations across service areas.\nFoster a positive team environment and follow established company, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.\nEducation & Experience\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAt least 5 years of commercial snow removal leadership and management required.\nPhysical ability to lift minimum 25 pounds regularly; capable of performing labor in cold weather conditions for extended periods.\nAbility to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by weather events and client needs.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality work.\nPreferred:\nSIMA, ASM/CSP certified a plus\nStrong multi-unit enterprise facilities management experience preferred in the following skills: Landscaping, Irrigation, Snow-Ice Programs, Interior and exterior facilities management, and Janitorial Services\nExperience in a trade\nExperience in facilities industry\nValid driver's license with clean driving record and no major traffic violations.\nExperience operating heavy equipment including wheel loaders, skid steers, or similar machinery.\nKnowledge of snow removal equipment, de-icing methods, and winter weather operations.\nMechanical ability and basic troubleshooting skills.\nWork Environment/Physical & Visual Demands\nThis position works outdoors for the full shift with a variable schedule Monday to Friday and sometimes weekends, typically within standard hours; overtime may be necessary or required. \nThis position requires extensive contact with people and travel to commercial client location.\nPhysical Demands: Lifting/Carrying; Frequently lifts and carries snow removal equipment, bagged materials, and supplies. Pushing/Pulling; Frequently pushes and pulls equipment. Standing/Walking; Constantly stands and walks, including on uneven or sloped terrain, for the entire shift. Bending/Stooping/Kneeling; Frequently bends, stoops, and kneels to plant, weed, and perform ground-level tasks. Balancing; Maintains balance on slopes, uneven ground, around moving equipment and heavy work, requiring lifting up to 50lbs. \nVisual Demands: Visual acuity to perform activities such as depth perception and peripheral vision to safely operate machinery near people, vehicles and obstacles. \nEnvironmental Conditions: This position is subject to be performed primarily outdoors at commercial properties in varying conditions (heat, cold, rain).
