A key player in major strategic programs at the global level, Leonardo is a technology and industrial partner to governments, defence administrations, institutions, and businesses. \nWithin the Operations area, we are seeking a Should Cost Engineer for our office in Cascina Costa (VA).\nJob description\nThe main responsibilities and activities associated with the role are listed below:\nidentify and analyze the technical, functional and performance characteristics of mechanical systems (components, mechanical transmissions, kinematic mechanisms) and hydraulic systems (servo controls and hydraulic circuits)\nidentify and define the cost drivers of mechanical and hydraulic components/equipment\nestimate the cost of mechanical and hydraulic products by applying the most appropriate industrial cost estimation methods (parametric / analogy / bottom-up).
