In addition, you may be eligible for a Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA), subject to specific criteria.\nWe encourage you to spend at least three days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.\nDuring the programme, you will\nReport to the Lead Supportability Engineer and be responsible to comprehend and deliver a wide range of Supportability Engineering tasks, in order to meet the needs of Integrated Project Teams in winning and delivering their business.\nAs a Graduate Supportability Engineer, you will\nAssist with the analysis, preparation and delivery of Supportability Engineering activities, with a particular focus on Supportability Analysis, across a variety of projects within Leonardo’s Electronic Warfare (EW) and Future Combat Air (FCA) Line of Business. You will help ensure that reliability and maintainability considerations influence product concepts and designs so that required performance and availability targets are met, while contributing to a culture of best-practice sharing and turning requirements into supportable solutions.\nWorking both independently and collaboratively with engineers and support staff across multiple UK and overseas locations, you will manage your time effectively and adapt to varied project needs. You will receive the training and mentoring needed to develop your supervisory skills and will have opportunities to take ownership of work packages, including planning and scheduling your own work and that of others.\nWhat you will bring\nA minimum 2:2 Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s degree, or a higher degree such as an MSc or PhD.\nRelevant degree disciplines include:\nAerospace Engineering\nPhysics\nMathematical Sciences\nMechanical Engineering\nElectrical and Electronic Engineering\nOther degree disciplines will also be considered.\nSecurity Clearance\nMany of our roles are subject to security and export control restrictions set by UK Government Security requirements and customer obligations. As a result, and in line with the UK Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) requirements, all successful applicants will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, criminal record declaration information and employment and/or education history verification for the previous five years.\nFor staff operating in more sensitive posts, there is an additional range of personnel security controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV). As part of this process, a range of factors may be considered, including an individual's background, travel history, nationality, previous nationalities held and other information relevant to the vetting assessment.\nTo be eligible for National Security Vetting at SC level, applicants will generally be expected to have continuously resided in the UK for the previous five years. For DV clearance, this is typically ten years. In some circumstances, time spent overseas may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
