You’ll receive a salary of £26,228, with coaching and support from a dedicated team to help you achieve both your placement objectives and personal development goals.\nSuccessful completion of an Industrial Placement with Leonardo may also lead to an offer on our Graduate Development Programme.\nDuring your placement, we encourage you to spend at least three days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience. This Opportunity is based in Luton.\nDuring the programme, you will\nAs part of our Microwave Engineering team, you'll support the development of RF and microwave technologies used within advanced Electronic Warfare solutions.\nYour activities will include:\n· Supporting the design and development of RF and microwave circuits, subsystems and components\n· Using industry-standard simulation and modelling tools to analyse microwave performance\n· Supporting the development of technologies operating at frequencies up to 40GHz and beyond\n· Conducting laboratory testing, measurement and validation using specialist RF and microwave equipment\n· Analysing technical performance data and presenting findings to engineering teams\n· Collaborating with RF, antenna, systems, software and hardware engineers\n· Contributing to technical documentation and design reviews\n·\nYour Industrial Placement Project\nApproximately 50% of your placement will be dedicated to a cohort-led Industrial Placement project.\nWorking with placement students across multiple engineering disciplines, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a project that addresses a real business challenge.
