principles, automation and advanced troubleshooting, while collaborating with internal IT teams, application specialists, operational users and technology partners.\nWhat you'll do\nManage and evolve Linux and Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring availability, performance, security and operational continuity.\nAdminister virtualization, compute, networking, storage, backup and containerized environments supporting operational and geospatial platforms.\nContribute to the secure operation of infrastructures supporting Earth Observation and Defence & Intelligence services, including processing and delivery environments.\nManage identity, access-control and network-segmentation mechanisms in environments with enhanced security and confidentiality requirements.\nImplement system hardening, security baselines and vulnerability remediation.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure monitoring, automation and configuration-management processes.\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, perform root cause analysis and coordinate remediation with internal teams and technology vendors.\nSupport infrastructure migrations, upgrades, capacity planning, lifecycle management and technical acceptance activities.\nWork with application and operational teams to translate requirements into secure, resilient and maintainable infrastructure solutions.\nContribute proactively to the evolution, resilience and continuous improvement of mission-critical IT services.\nRequirements\nAt least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure or infrastructure security.\nStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.\nSolid experience with virtualization and enterprise infrastructure architectures.\nGood knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, firewalling and access control.\nExperience with enterprise storage, backup and data services.\nKnowledge of identity-management technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy and LDAP.\nFamiliarity with monitoring, automation and configuration-management technologies.\nGood understanding of cybersecurity principles applied to infrastructure, including hardening, least privilege, network segmentation and vulnerability management.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to independently drive complex technical issues through to resolution.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across infrastructure, application and operational teams and with external suppliers.\nProactive attitude, strong ownership and focus on delivery.\nGood written and spoken English.\nEducation\nUniversity degree.
