The successful candidate will manage all materials in the manufacturing chain to meet the appropriate build standards and\nmaintain work-in-progress status within SAP. The role includes expediting internal production items to comply with MPS and generating\nweekly progress reports. You will also provide accurate feedback on estimated completion dates and potential delays through your team leadand local integrated project team (IPT).\nThis will be a role based on site.\nWorking as a Material controller you will be carrying out the following:\nReview, release, and manage internal Production/Service orders aligned with MPS and customer plans.\nExpedite work through production areas daily, collaborating with manufacturing teams to review capacity.\nSchedule Production/Service Orders using SAP.\nUse Teamcenter to ensure the latest drawings and work instructions are applied to Production/Service orders.\nCoordinate vendor operations with Delivery and Logistics teams.\nImplement FRB/MRB actions, attend MRB meetings, and ensure dispositioned material is handled accordingly.\nLiaise with Industrial Engineering to ensure accurate rework descriptions and timings.\nManage the delivery of kits to and from all Manufacturing and Engineering areas.\nInform internal stakeholders of delays that could impact MPS achievement, suggest re-prioritisations, and resolve issues.\nAttend and contribute to production reviews as a key member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT).\nCollaborate closely with the Material Supply team to ensure material availability for the agreed production plan.\nWhat you’ll bring\nExperience with SAP is essential.\nPrevious planning experience in a production environment.\nStrong ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.\nExcellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks.\nStrong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.\nAwareness of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) is an advantage.\nIf you are highly organised with the skills to manage materials effectively in a production environment, we encourage you to apply.\nThis is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above.
