This role will be a Leonardo UK employee.\nAs part of an international consortium it is expected that this role will involve travel internationally as well as nationally between Leonardo UK sites if needed. It is also likely that the role will start at our Luton site and subsequently move to Reading, dependent on timelines.\nAs a Product Assurance Manager, you will perform a coordinating role across a Sub-System interfacing with your equivalents in the Partner companies working with them to assure that:\ninternal/external program design reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify improvement and cost efficiency actions are performed\nimprovement initiatives related to product defects, fault analysis, and failures in conjunction with the engineering department are supported when requested\nthe execution of Functional Configuration and Product Configuration Audits and configuration management activities are being undertaken and provide support when requested\nProgramme Manager has support in quality related customer-related activities. \nproduct Non-Conformities in compliance with standards and procedures are being managed\nproduct acceptance activities are being undertaken\nprocesses to assess compliance with internal standards and customer requirements are in place and effective, providing support where needed\nthe coherency and availability of contractual documentation is being verified\nFirst Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with EN9102 are being undertaken, providing support when requested\nReviews of documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure compliant products are delivered to the customer are undertaken\nCollaboration with stakeholders to address and resolve key management issues is being undertaken, taking a support or co-ordinating role if asked to do so\nWhat you’ll bring:\nEssential\nA degree in a STEM or business related topic\nExperience of working in a Quality or Product Assurance role\nAn understanding of ISO 9001\nAnalytical and problem solving skills\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal\nEvidence of good collaboration skills and cross geographic working, to reach agreements and form partnerships\nFamiliar with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment/Property during field, ground or operational tests\nThis is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above.
