Leonardo is a trusted technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defence Administrations, Institutions and Enterprises.\nWithin the Business Control Area, we are looking for a Program Controller for our site in Cascina Costa (Varese, Italy), who will support the financial planning, monitoring and performance control of complex programs, acting as a key business partner for Program Managers and cross-functional teams.\nJOB TITLE: Program Controller\nACTIVITIES\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:\nSupport program planning, budgeting and forecasting activities throughout the program lifecycle.\nPlan and monitor program costs, revenues and margins, ensuring consistency with business objectives.\nDefine and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and related financial reporting structures.\nMonitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions and recovery plans.\nDefine methodologies and requirements for collecting, consolidating and managing program financial information.\nPrepare and analyze periodic performance reports and dashboards for management and key stakeholders.\nSupport Program Managers and project teams in evaluating the financial impact of business decisions and operational alternatives.\nAct as a focal point for program financial planning tools, methodologies and processes.\nCollaborate with Finance, Accounting and other business functions to ensure compliance with corporate procedures and financial policies.\nSupport revenue allocation and revenue recognition activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards.\nAnalyze overall business performance and provide insights to support decision-making processes.\nREQUIREMENTS\nEducation\nMaster's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering or equivalent\nSeniority\nJunior: 1-3 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, FP&A, Project Control or similar roles.\nTechnical Knowledge and Skills\nKnowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes\nUnderstanding of cost control and financial performance analysis\nKnowledge of project and program management principles\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills\nKnowledge of ERP systems (SAP is considered a plus)\nFamiliarity with revenue recognition and management accounting principles\nStrong analytical and quantitative skills\nBehavioral Competencies\nProactivity\nProblem Solving\nFlexibility and adaptability\nTeamwork and collaboration\nEffective communication skills\nAttention to detail\nResults-oriented mindset\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish: B2 level or higher\nIT Skills\nMicrosoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)\nSAP and Business Intelligence tools are considered a plus\nOther\nAbility to work in an international and cross-functional environment\nSeniority:\nJuniorPrimary Location:\nIT -
