As such, the successful applicant with be central to delivering the success of the Fire Control business.\nWhat you will do as Project Manager for Fire Control Test Equipment\nYou will lead the Integrated Project Teams in the successful delivery of a compliant project in line with the Customer, Contractual and Legislative requirements. Achieved through effective planning and management of team performance and project schedule and cost.\nIn addition, this role will require a systematic approach to maximise value creation within the commercial constraints.\nYou will ensure effective communications to proactively encourage project delivery across all functional business areas to achieve cost, quality and schedule within budget.\nYou will proactively monitor project progress, resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective action.\nYou will identify and manage risks to the production project, including the development of contingency plan.\nYou will engage with Integrated Project Teams, and vendors in line with level of accountability.\nYou will conduct project reviews and make recommendations to appropriate business areas.\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou will typically be degree qualified in a business or engineering related discipline or an equivalent suitable level of work experience.\nYou will have Project Management experience in managing small to medium sized projects with multiple stakeholders.\nAble to develop strong, trusting relationships at all levels within the business and externally and be able to influence effectively at all levels.\nYou will have strong leadership and motivational skills.\nYou will be enthusiastic and well organised.\nYou will have the ability to embrace and work to tight timescales/deadlines.\nYou will possess effective and flexible communication, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.\nA pro-active approach with a \"can do\" attitude, striving for continuous improvement, effectiveness and efficiency.\nAnd it would be beneficial if you have:\nA working knowledge of SAP\nPMP qualification, (or working towards a PMP qualification)\nThis is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above.
