We are a relatively small agile team where innovation and adding value at all levels of Procurement is at the core of our work practices. The role is based in Bristol but attendance at site is on a custom-working basis.\nWhat you will do as a Senior Sub-Contract Buyer:\nThis role will involve the full gamut of Procurement activities, including:\nPO management \nRFQ process \nsupplier negotiation \nworking in cross-functional teams \nmanaging supplier performance \nmanaging and mitigating risk across the supply base \nreporting to key stakeholders \nsupport to procurement strategy development \ninvestigating areas of opportunity for cost reductions \ndrafting commercial documents such as NDAs, Teaming Agreements, SOWs, etc. \nWhat you'll bring\nexperience in procurement of goods and/or services \nproven ability to work independently \nstrong negotiation and influencing skills \ngood communicator who can build effective relationships \npro-active and results driven mentality \nappropriate training to Degree level or equivalent, or relevant work experience \nexperience of working with SAP, or similar MRP system \nIt would be nice if you had:\nan understanding of legal aspects and an ability to negotiate bespoke terms and conditions \nCIPS\nknowledge of the Cyber sector or experience of working within a Systems Integrator \nawareness of Trade Compliance regulations \nSecurity Clearance\nThis role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
