You will be a key part in a community of world-class software engineers who will continuously improve, collaborate and innovate with other engineers to create market-leading products within the defence industry.\nWhat we are looking for:\nCore Skills:\nProgramming fundamentals\nObject Orientated Design\nProblem solving\nPython\nUnderstanding of Software Development Cycle\nDelivery to Software Requirements\nAgile environment\nDesired Skills:\nEmbedded experience.\nC/C++\nTCP/IP communication\nExperience with development tools including:Microsoft Visual Studio\nGit\nUbuntu Linux\nVS Code\n\nEmbedded programming\nDevelopment of new applications to meet user expectations and within formal constraints.\nExperience of using Iterative development lifecycles (for example tailored Agile.)\nExperience using tools associated with Iterative development lifecycles (Jira / DevOps.)\nFamiliarity with development to design and coding standards\nSecurity Clearance\nThis role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
