The candidate should possess the capabilities to independently process E/E systems designs and to represent LEONI in front of our customers and partners. This position reports directly to our Head of Harness Design in Troy, Michigan.\nJob Profile Description:\nImport Wiring DEF for all families including all sub-suppliers (Large, Medium, Small, Data/Communication, HV, Battery, etc)\nTrouble shoot any issues in data and software and resolve with our customers and business partners. \nTrain/support junior team members\nCreate hrn/cmp/csv files from imported DEF\nSupport def quality team with def checks\nCreate system level DVP&R\nDetermine inline positioning\nResistance check to meet system requirements\nConfirm design meets Terminal Plating and Special Requirements.\nCreate subcomponent list (Terminal, Seal and etc) according to housing information\nCreate inline list file (X/Y-NUMs, Male/Female, connector p/ns, description, etc)\nCreate inline pinout\nCreate inline device transmittal (add special reqs and terminal plating)\nWire gauge selection\nProvide splice information to DRE to integrate into 3D design. \nWire harness troubleshooting for the full vehicle\n Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive preferred)\n5 years’ experience in in executing full vehicle systems engineering projects (Stellantis preferred)\nExperience in Capital Logic/Integrator or equivalent schematics design tool\nStrong interpersonal skills; able to represent LEONI professionally with customers.\nExperience executing full-vehicle systems engineering projects.\nUnderstanding of harness, inline, and device-to-harness partitioning.\nKnowledge of cable and sub-assembly partitioning.\nUnderstanding of ground and network topology.\nCandidate needs to be authorized to work in the U.S.\n Benefit offerings to be discussed throughout interview process.\nPeople of all genders are always meant equally; for linguistic simplification and better readability, only the masculine form is used in the text.\nLEONI processes your application data in an IT-system that is consistent across the company and uses Foreign Service providers.
