As an innovation partner with distinctive development and systems expertise, we support our customers on the path to increasingly sustainable and connected mobility concepts from autonomous driving to alternative drives as well as charging systems.\n Lead the annual Hoshin Kanri and Continuous Improvement planning process in collaboration with plant management, defining yearly targets and ensuring tracking through the management CI process; conduct operational investigations and manage OPEX projects to identify improvement opportunities, deliver value, and ensure alignment with plant goals and financial viability through internal OPEX audits.\nDeploy and sustain the OPEX system across the plant, including OPEX manuals, standards, and routines, ensuring all improvement methods and tools are known, applied, and respected by employees.\nDrive savings realized from improvement projects and ensure reflection in P&L, demonstrating measurable financial impact and value delivery.\nDevelop and implement comprehensive training and coaching plans to build OPEX capability utilizing the Train-the-Trainer principle; lead Continuous Improvement workshops on the shop floor and in indirect areas, developing improvement roadmaps and defining plant OPEX capacity in accordance with OPEX guidelines.\nIdentify, implement, and share local best practices across plant, country, and wider organizational levels to drive systemic improvement and organizational learning.\nAct as Project Management Office (PMO) for improvement projects within the plant perimeter and lead Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) activities in coordination with Central OPEX to address performance deviations.\nBuild and sustain a culture of operational excellence by ensuring employee qualifications meet operational requirements and that continuous improvement methodologies are embedded throughout all organizational levels.\n\n Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.\n\n7+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Production, or Manufacturing.\n\nStrong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, CI, problem-solving, and performance management, VSM, KATA & Makigami\n\nExperience leading improvement projects, workshops, and cross-functional teams.\n\nGood English communication and presentation skills.\n\nStrong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.\n\nPlus / Preferred:\nLean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.\n\nExperience with Hoshin Kanri and OPEX systems.\n\nExperience in training/coaching and Train-the-Trainer.\n\nExperience with OPEX/Lean audits and PMO/project management.\n\nExperience in a multinational manufacturing environment.\n\n People of all genders are always meant equally; for linguistic simplification and better readability, only the masculine form is used in the text.\nLEONI processes your application data in an IT-system that is consistent across the company and uses Foreign Service providers.
