The Senior Project Manager provides strategic leadership to project teams, manages stakeholder relationships, oversees contractual and commercial performance, drives project governance, and ensures projects contribute to organisational objectives while maintaining compliance with company standards and client requirements.\nKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS\nProject Planning and Delivery\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project execution plans and schedules\nLead teams on projects that ranges from up to installation to 200MW utility-scale projects to achieve project milestones\nMonitor project scope, budget, schedule and quality performance\nResolve project issues and implement corrective actions where required\nEnsure successful project handover and close-out, including lessons learnt documentation\nContract, Commercial and Financial Management\nAdminister project contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations\nMonitor project costs, cash flow, forecasts and budget performance\nReview and approve procurement activities and subcontractor appointments\nManage variations, claims and commercial risks\nPrepare financial reports and provide accurate project performance updates\nStakeholder and Client Relationship Management\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders\nLead project meetings and communicate project progress effectively\nCoordinate activities across engineering, procurement, construction and support functions\nResolve stakeholder concerns and negotiate project solutions\nEnsure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle\nGovernance, Risk, Quality and SHE Management\nEnsure compliance with company governance, policies and procedures\nIdentify, assess and manage project risks and mitigation plans\nPromote a strong Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) culture\nMonitor compliance with quality assurance and quality control requirements\nConduct regular project audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives\nLeadership and Business Improvement\nLead, mentor and develop project personnel and junior project managers\nAllocate resources and monitor team performance\nSupport business development through technical and project management input into proposals\nDrive continuous improvement of project management systems and processes\nContribute to strategic initiatives and organisational objectives\nQUALIFICATION\nBachelor's Degree or BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical, or related Engineering discipline\nProfessional Project Management qualification (PMP, PrCPM or equivalent)\nFormal training in Contract Management\nCertified training in PMBOK principles\nEXPERIENCE\nMinimum of 8 years' project management experience within grid (transmission and distribution) and/or renewable energy environment\nExperience working with PV systems or Substation Projects\nDemonstrated experience managing medium-large multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM projects\nProven experience managing project budgets, contracts, procurement and project controls\nPractical site construction and commissioning experience\nHigh level understanding of PMBOK principles\nCOMPETENCIES\nKnowledge\nAdvanced knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK or equivalent)\nKnowledge of engineering design, procurement and construction processes\nContract management and commercial administration\nRisk management principles\nFinancial management, budgeting and cost control\nProject scheduling and project controls\nQuality Management Systems (ISO
