LeuNet ICT Solutions is seeking a qualified, experienced, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, practical experience with accounting software, and sound knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
Record and manage company income, expenses, and general ledger transactions.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
Manage petty cash, bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and cash flow.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable Ethiopian tax obligations, including VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and E-Tax reporting.
Prepare tax reports and ensure timely fulfillment of statutory financial obligations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Conduct internal financial checks, support audits, and assist with year-end account closing.
Maintain procurement and office accounting records and perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Practical experience using the E-Tax portal.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Experience in the import-export or audit sector is an advantage.
