The Level99 CNC Operator builds game components working closely with the engineers, designers and fabricators to ensure that components are precise and scenic details are successfully executed. The Level99 CNC Operator at our Norwood MA design and build production facility plays a critical role in producing precision cut components that support the fabrication of our interactive challenges and scenic environments.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nOperate CNC routers and related equipment to cut, machine, and produce parts from wood, plastics, and other materials\n\nSet up jobs including loading material, securing stock, setting zero points, and selecting appropriate tooling\n\nRead and interpret shop drawings, cut files, and job specifications to execute accurate CNC operations\n\nMonitor machine operation to ensure quality, accuracy, and safe performance throughout each job\n\nPerform basic machine maintenance including cleaning and routine upkeep\n\nWork closely with CNC Programmers, Engineers, and Fabricators to ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances\n\nInspect finished parts for quality and accuracy before releasing them to the fabrication team\n\nOrganize and label cut parts for efficient downstream assembly\n\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized CNC workspace and surrounding shop area\n\nTrack material usage and communicate needs for replenishment\n\nSupport the broader fabrication team with assembly, material prep, and general production tasks when CNC work is not actively required\n\nMUST-HAVE SKILLS\n2+ years of hands on experience operating CNC routers or similar digital fabrication equipment\nStrong understanding of machine setup including workholding, zeroing, and tool selection\nAbility to read and interpret shop drawings, cut files, and fabrication documentation\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, accurate parts\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities\nOTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE\nExperience with CAM software and preparing toolpaths\nFamiliarity with CNC file formats and workflows (DXF, G code, etc.)\nExperience working in a fabrication shop, scenic shop, or manufacturing environment\nBasic woodworking or fabrication experience for downstream assembly support\nOSHA 10 certification","description_format":"text","description_chars":2469,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Commerce","Events & Ticketing","Gift Cards & Loyalty Programs"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-29T00:23:52Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":82,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.822,"p_room":1,"age_days":5,"expected_fill_days":35,"reasons":["conf:0","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-04T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":60000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/level99-cnc-operator-entertainment-development-fabrication","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/level99-cnc-operator-entertainment-development-fabrication.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-05T00:13:52Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":184,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4816,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-06T00:00:00Z"}}}
