Day in the Life of a Venue Tech at Level99!\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nComplete weekly inspections on every Challenge across mechanical, electrical, structural and safety elements\nOwn first-response troubleshooting and repair when a Challenge or gameplay system fails during live operations, resolving what you can and escalating what you can't\nUphold hospitality and show standards in Guest-facing areas while performing visible work\nPerform preventative maintenance including touch-up painting, tightening hardware, cleaning components, and inspecting wear points\nServe as first response for general facility and Venue maintenance, resolving what you can and escalating what you can't\nDocument all work in MaintainX and communicate closures, reopenings, and operational impacts in real time internally and with cross-functional teams.\nMUST-HAVE SKILLS\nAbility to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays as well as emergency responsiveness as required\nSafe and competent use of common hand and power tools\nAbility to triage and prioritize competing issues based on safety, Player impact, and urgency\nAbility to work 10+ hour shifts, stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment\nA positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude\nOTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE\nLow-voltage wiring, electro-mechanical repair, or electrical troubleshooting\nPLCs, microcontrollers, sensors, or other controls and automation systems\nPC, network, or AV systems troubleshooting\nCarpentry, fabrication, or work with wood, metal, and plastics\nScenic painting, surfacing, or refinishing\nTheatrical lighting, DMX, sound, or show control systems\nRigging inspection and maintenance\nGeneral facility maintenance including plumbing and HVAC\nExperience in entertainment, attractions, theme parks, escape rooms, theatre, or live events\nRelevant Education: B.S. in Production, Design, Theatre Tech, Engineering, or other related degree \nCPR/AED/First Aid
