Everything we learn about harnessing AI to build software goes into the product, driving faster, more accurate, and safer outcomes for enterprise procurement teams. We build with the aggressive assumption that everything in procurement can be done by AI. Our job is to prove it.\nAutonomy only counts when it connects to the systems an enterprise already runs. Nothing makes Levelpath real for a customer faster than the moment their ERP, HRIS, and financial systems start talking to us. That moment is this job.\nThe role\nYou will own the connective tissue between Levelpath and the systems our customers already run: ERPs like NetSuite, SAP, and Oracle, plus HRIS, SSO, ticketing, e-signature, and finance tools. Some integrations you build yourself. Others are built by customer teams, and you are the engineer who guides them, unblocks them, and makes sure everything works in production.\nThis is a customer-facing engineering role in the truest sense. You will be on calls with customer IT and integration teams, whiteboarding data flows, debugging auth handshakes live, and turning ambiguous requirements into working pipelines. When a customer's integration engineer is stuck, you are the person who gets them moving again.\nYou will build with our agentic software factory, and you will improve it. The factory is optimized for exactly this work: well-specified contracts and a premium on verification. It is not perfect, and when it falls short you fix the cause, contributing tooling back so the next integration ships faster. Agents are the execution capacity here. Your job is to drive them to the outcome: unblock them when they stall, correct them when they drift, and verify what they ship.\nYou will also be the engineering presence in the US timezone. Our core platform team is distributed internationally, and you help anchor US-hours on-call coverage so customers get a fast, expert response no matter when things break. On-call is a real part of this role, and we invest in the observability, runbooks, and agent tooling that make it sane.\nWhat you will do\nDesign, build, and ship integrations between Levelpath and enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, SSO/SCIM, ticketing, e-signature) using TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL in an agent-driven workflow.\n\nLead technical calls with customer engineering and IT teams: scoping, architecture reviews, debugging sessions, and go-live support.\n\nGuide customers building against our GraphQL API and MCP surface, from first webhook to production cutover.\n\nHarden integration paths for the realities of enterprise data: schema enforcement, validation, retries, idempotency, and graceful degradation.\n\nAnchor US-hours on-call, triaging production issues and improving the tooling that makes the next incident easier.\n\nFeed what you learn in the field back into the product: better connectors, better docs, better defaults.\n\nWhat you bring\nSolid backend or full-stack fundamentals with several years shipping production software.\n\nReal experience with third-party APIs and integration work: REST and GraphQL, webhooks, OAuth and SAML flows, data mapping, and the patience to read someone else's API docs carefully.\n\nAI-pilled, genuinely. Your instinct is to hand work to agents first, and you want to turn over as much as possible to AI, in your own workflow and in the product. You have the judgment to know when it worked.\n\nA deep-seated need to ship. We believe we win by outshipping everyone, and we hire engineers who treat blockers as things to bulldoze, not things to wait on.\n\nOwnership by default. No one here is just on a team. Everyone owns and leads something, and you should want that.\n\nTypeScript and Node.js experience (NestJS a plus). We care more about fundamentals than exact-stack trivia.\n\nPostgreSQL knowledge and comfort with Docker.\n\nAn incredible attitude. You genuinely enjoy customer calls, you stay calm when production is on fire, and teammates describe you as the person they want in the room when things get hard.\n\nExcellent communication, written and verbal. You can explain a webhook retry policy to a customer's IT admin and a data model tradeoff to our platform team with equal clarity.\n\nNice to have\nExperience with enterprise procurement, finance, or ERP ecosystems (Ariba, Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Workday).\n\nExperience with iPaaS platforms or building connector frameworks.\n\nWhat we offer\nTop salary and equity\n\nAI-paced culture\n\nA team that plays like pros: high standards, high growth, no passengers\n\nAbility to have strong customer context and autonomy\n\n401K, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance\n\nThe estimated annual cash salary for this role is $165,000 - $240,000\nLevelpath is committed to equal treatment and opportunity in all aspects of recruitment, selection, and employment. We work hard to evaluate all employees and job applicants consistently, without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected class. We’re working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in our workplace.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5492,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["401k plan","Equity","Vision insurance"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Procurement & Spend Management"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-06T07:17:03Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 3","filings_12m":3,"filings_prev_12m":1,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":232500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-29T16:27:21+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":7,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.248,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":108,"expected_fill_days":42,"reasons":["conf:2","stale_co","ghost","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-10-31T05:58:55Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":240000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/levelpath-integrations-engineer-san-francisco","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/levelpath-integrations-engineer-san-francisco.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-31T06:46:54Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":10006,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-01T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":171850},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=171850"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Flevelpath-integrations-engineer-san-francisco"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Flevelpath-integrations-engineer-san-francisco"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Flevelpath-integrations-engineer-san-francisco"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/levelpath-integrations-engineer-san-francisco\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Flevelpath-integrations-engineer-san-francisco"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":438083}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"levelpath.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":438083},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
