You will work closely with engineering teams, operations partners, vendors, and support teams to improve platform stability, resolve production issues, and strengthen application reliability. This role supports warehouse, transportation, labor, workforce, integration, and reporting platforms and is suited for an experienced technology professional who enjoys solving operational challenges.\nAbout the Job\nOwn the investigation and resolution of complex and recurring application, integration, data, and reporting issues across Distribution & Logistics systems.\nAnalyze logs, transactions, APIs, middleware events, and data sets to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nImprove monitoring, alerts, dashboards, runbooks, and support documentation to reduce operational noise and incident recurrence.\nPartner with engineering teams, vendors, warehouse operations, transportation operations, and third-party logistics providers to maintain platform stability and support business continuity.\nSupport release readiness, deployment validation, change reviews, and post-implementation monitoring while leveraging approved AI tools to improve troubleshooting and operational efficiency.\nAbout You\n4+ years of experience in application support, production support, reliability engineering, system administration, or enterprise logistics technology support.\nExperience troubleshooting applications, integrations, databases, and operational processes in a production environment.\nStrong SQL and data analysis skills used for production investigations, root cause analysis, data validation, and issue resolution.\nHands-on experience working within incident, problem, change, and release management processes.\nExperience supporting warehouse, transportation, supply chain, or enterprise platforms, with the ability to independently resolve recurring issues and recommend operational improvements.\nTechnical Skills\nRequired: Oracle, ServiceNow, MuleSoft.\nDesirable: Experience with Manhattan WMS, Manhattan Active WMS, Manhattan TMS, Centiro TMS, Manhattan LMS, SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Manhattan SCI, SQL Server, Snowflake, or comparable enterprise platforms.\nKnowledge of development technologies such as .NET Core, C, or Oracle\nAI: Awareness of current AI trends, governance, and responsible AI practices, with the ability to apply AI effectively in a business environment.\nThis role is based full-time on site at our Northampton Distribution Centre, giving you the opportunity to work closely with the operation and see first-hand how the systems you support impact the day-to-day running of the DC.\nThe team works across a rotating shift pattern:\nEarly shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm, Tuesday to Saturday\nLate shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday\nAs the role rotates between both shifts, you’ll need to be comfortable with this working pattern and able to reliably travel to the Northampton site.\nThe expected starting salary range for this role is £45,500 - £60,700 per year. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance, and our needs.
