This senior role ensures AI technologies are designed, deployed, and operatedsecurely, ethically, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The architect works closely with AI engineering teams, cloud architects, GRC leaders, and executive stakeholders to embed security and trust into AI-driven solutions. The role will be remote.\nWhy Join Levio? \nWork on complex, high impact digital transformation projects \nCollaboratewithexperienced, multidisciplinaryteams \nContinuously develop your technical and professional expertise \nEnjoy flexibility, autonomy, and a strong people first culture \nBe part of an organization that values diversity, inclusion, and innovation \nRole and Responsibilities\nAI Security Architecture & Strategy \nDefine enterprise AI security architecture and guardrails. \nEstablish secure reference architectures for AI platforms, models, and data pipelines. \nDesign controls to mitigate AI-specific threats (model abuse, data poisoning, adversarial attacks). \nAlign AI security strategy with Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles. \nAI Governance, Risk & Compliance \nArchitect AI governance frameworks aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. \nDefine AI risk classification, impact assessment, and control baselines. \nSupport AI auditability, explainability, transparency, and accountability. \nSecure MLOps & Cloud AI \nArchitect secure MLOps pipelines with integrated security controls. \nDefine access, identity, secrets management, and logging for AI platforms. \nEnsure secure use of third-party and open-source AI models. \nData Security & Privacy for AI \nDefine data protection architecture for AI datasets and outputs. \nEnsure compliance with privacy laws (GDPR, Law 25, PIPEDA). \nArchitect anonymization, encryption, and data governance mechanisms. \nAdvisory & Leadership \nAct as senior advisor on AI security and trust. \nMentor analysts and guide AI engineering teams. \nCommunicate AI risks and mitigation strategies to executives and boards. \nQualifications and Experience\nDeep understanding of AI/ML architectures and lifecycle. \nStrong knowledge of AI security threats and mitigations. \nExpertise in cloud AI platforms and secure cloud architecture. \nStrong background in cybersecurity architecture and risk management. \nFamiliarity with AI governance and ethical AI frameworks\nCISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, NIST AI RMF Practitioner, CCSP (Cloud Security), AI governance or ethics certifications (an asset)\nCompensation (Ontario) \nThe salary range provided reflects a good faith estimate based on factors such as experience, technical expertise, location, and relevant certifications.
