Experience the daily life of our clients and be a significant player in the most ambitious projects in technology and software solutions.\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\n Levio is currently seeking a Python Developer to contribute to a large-scale project based in Montreal in a hybrid work model.\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign, develop and optimize Backend services in Python, primarily to automate and modernize financial forecasting processes ;\nContribute to the evolution of distributed architectures and data pipelines using DataIQ, Databricks and Snowflake ;\nParticipate in the automation of monthly and weekly processing using Python and SQL, which will represent the majority of the work ;\nCollaborate closely with engineering, data and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions ;\nAnalyze technical requirements, propose robust solutions and take part in architectural decisions ;\nParticipate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of code, processes and tools (automated tests, CI/CD, monitoring) ;\nEnsure the performance, reliability and security of applications in a highly regulated and multi-team environment ;\nInteract with existing systems such as Teradata and various legacy platforms, while directing deliverables toward Snowflake.\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field ;\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in Python development within complex environments ;\nExperience in the banking sector or within large financial institutions (required) ;\nStrong knowledge of data technologies: SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) ;\nProficiency with Linux environments and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, containerization) ;\nFamiliarity with DataIQ, Databricks and Snowflake ;\nExcellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.\nSOCIAL BENEFITS:\nLevio offers several benefits to provide the greatest possible flexibility to its employees!
