Ensure it serves as the primary tool for validating new features and system-level interactions.\nBridge Development and Testing: Act as the primary liaison between the development team and manual testers. Translate manual test cases into automated scripts and provide technical guidance on testing strategy and best practices.\nProvide Architectural Guidance: Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure new features are designed with strong testability as a core requirement. Evaluate and gate features based on the architecture’s ability to support comprehensive integration testing.\nMaintain Feature Awareness: Develop and sustain deep knowledge of upcoming features and ongoing development initiatives, enabling proactive design and preparation of the required testing infrastructure.\nLead Test Implementation and Management: Manage the integration test backlog and actively contribute hands-on by writing, executing, and debugging test cases. Oversee the rollout and adoption of the testing framework across the team, including manual testers.\nQualifications and Experience \nRequired qualifications \nDemonstrate expert-level proficiency in automated testing of React applications, including component, integration, and end-to-end testing.\nApply advanced TypeScript expertise and modern testing methodologies such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, and TDD.\nExhibit strong capability in testing applications deployed within AWS cloud environments.\nEnsure rigorous validation of GraphQL APIs and schema contracts.\nDeliver high-quality testing for microservices built with ExpressJS, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB.\nLeverage hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux and Zustand.\nBring proven experience collaborating within distributed, cross-functional Agile teams and using JIRA.\nImplement robust quality gates within CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.).\nUtilize monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Splunk) to detect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.\nShow strong verbal and written communication skills in client-facing environments.\nCompensation (Ontario)\nThe salary range provided reflects a good faith estimate based on factors such as experience, technical expertise, location, and relevant certifications.
