Experience the daily life of our clients and be a significant player in the most ambitious projects in technology and software solutions.\nJOB DESCRIPTION :\nWe are seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer for Canadian public sector projects.\nRESPONSIBILITIES :\nProducing products and services that are user-friendly, and accessible for the endusers;\nParticipating in all phases of the UX design process, including:Designing wireframes and prototypes; and\nContinuously iterating on solutions.\n\nDesigning all the screens a user might interact with and creating the visual and interactive elements that make this interaction possible, such as designing the following features:Icons;\nButtons;\nMenu bars;\nTypography; and\ncolors, etc.\n\nDocumenting design specifications by creating annotations for effective hand-off to thedevelopment team;\n\nContributing to and maintaining the design system;\nCreating reusable design components, and optimizing the user interface forperformance;\n\nEnsuring compliance with style guides such as the Canada.ca design system and theCanada.ca Content Style Guide;\n\nWorking in an open, iterative and collaborative way with the CDO;\nWorking within a strategic context and communicating how activities meet strategicgoals;\n\nParticipating in or running design critiques to receive and integrate feedback fromStakeholders throughout the design process;\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :\nPost-secondary education mandatory.\nMore than ten (10) years' experience as a UX Designer.\nExperience in artificial intelligence (AI), specifically Claude Code.\nExperience in conducting all the following activities:supporting user research;\ncreating user personas;\ndeveloping prototypes;\nperforming usability tests;\nensuring compliance with visual brand guidelines;\ncontinuously iterating on solutions with feedback collected through various mechanisms;\ncomplying with accessibility standards.\n\nDemonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally including:communicating with Project Stakeholders;\ncollaborating with Agile cross-functional teams;\naligning design with strategic business objectives; and\npresenting design work with evidence-based justifications to various Project Stakeholders. \n\nDocumentation, insights and presentation of actionable recommendations.\nApplying research ethics, data privacy, accessibility, and inclusive lenses to all stages of activities.\nExperience working in Agile product team environments.\nSpoken and written English required.\nGovernment of Canada security clearance (Reliability) and former public sector work experience an asset.\nLevio subscribes to the principle of employment equity and applies an equal access employment program for women, Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities.\nLevio values diversity and inclusion and aims to create a healthy, accessible, and rewarding work environment that highlights the unique contribution of our employees to the success of our company.
