The company employs over 2,000 technologists, data scientists, and experts to develop, test, and validate solutions in line with RELX Responsible AI Principles.\nAbout the Role\nThe Knowledge & ResearchLegal Engineer builds trusted relationships with librarians, information professionals, and innovation leaders within large law firms, helping them identify practical opportunities to adopt and expand the use of AI-powered legal research and workflow solutions. Working closely with customer-facing teams, this role supports implementation, drives engagement, and provides strategic guidance on the responsible use of generative AI technologies in legal environments.\nResponsibilities\nBuild enduring relationships with librarians, information professionals, innovation leaders, and other stakeholders in assigned large law firms. Understand their priorities, existing processes, and goals for AI adoption.\nWork with customers and account teams to identify practical opportunities for LexisNexis AI and workflow solutions. Tailor use cases and implementation approaches to each firm’s needs, governance practices, and measures of success.\nLead tailored demonstrations, training, workshops, and executive briefings. Help librarians evaluate new capabilities, support implementation, and educate attorneys and other users across their firms.\nAdvise customers on AI capabilities and limitations, responsible use, adoption challenges, and opportunities to improve research and knowledge workflows.\nPartner with Client Managers and other account team members to develop engagement plans, identify growth opportunities, and increase use and advocacy of LexisNexis solutions, including Lexis+® with Protégé™.\nGather feedback on customer needs, implementation barriers, emerging use cases, and product enhancements. Share specific recommendations with product, development, and marketing teams.\nParticipate in librarian associations, conferences, advisory board meetings, and other industry events through customer conversations, presentations, and product demonstrations.\nContribute ideas and content to customer education and marketing programs. Maintain accurate activity records, use required reporting tools, and meet established goals and objectives.\nRequirements\nA Juris Doctorate Degree and MLS \nAt least three years of recent (within last 3-6months) experience working as a librarian in a large law firm, with direct experience supporting legal research, knowledge services, or technology adoption.\nHands-on experience implementing AI solutions at a large law firm, including evaluating use cases, supporting rollout, training users, and addressing adoption challenges.\nStrong AI fluency, including practical experience with generative AI tools and the ability to discuss their capabilities, limitations, and governance considerations with law firm stakeholders.\nExcellent presentation, training, facilitation, communication, and consultative problem-solving skills.\nAbility to collaborate across account, product, and marketing teams and manage multiple customer priorities.\nWillingness and ability to travel at least six times per year, including overnight travel, for conferences, advisory board meetings, and in-person client meetings.\nWork in a Way That Works for You\nWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
