In this role, you'll help support and evolve cloud-based database platforms that power critical services, while developing your expertise across cloud infrastructure, automation, reliability, performance engineering, and Infrastructure as Code. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and stakeholders to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable solutions in a modern AWS environment.\nResponsibilities\nHelp operate and evolve highly available cloud database platforms hosted in AWS.\nContribute to the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure systems.\nInvestigate and resolve complex technical challenges alongside experienced engineers.\nMonitor, analyse, and optimise database and platform performance.\nAutomate operational processes using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.\nSupport backup, recovery and business continuity capabilities.\nEvaluate and introduce new technologies that improve platform performance, stability, and security.\nCollaborate with architects, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.\nRequirements\n1-2 years Experience in database engineering, cloud platform operations, or a related infrastructure engineering discipline.\nCloud platforms such as AWS.\nRelational database technologies including any of the following MySQL, Aurora, PostgresSQL, Oracle, Sql Server,.\nDatabase monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, back-up and recovery.\nInfrastructure as Code tools ideally Terraform or Ansible.\nLinux administration and scripting or programming skills, ideally Python.\nVersion control technologies such as Git.\nSecurity best practices and their practical application in platform design and operations.\nRisk benefit statement\nLearn more about the LexisNexis Risk team and how we work\nhere\n\nIf performed in any following locations: Ireland - Dublin (Rockfield Central), the base pay range is €46,700 - €77,800.\n\nWe know your well-being and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
