In this role, you will be responsible for managing all experimental data, ensuring its accuracy, reliability, and consistency throughout the entire experimental process.\nResponsibilities:\nManagement of analysis laboratory operations\nTechnical leadership and subject matter expertise for laboratory services provided to TS&D Engineers at CS Center Europe\nSetup, calibration, and operation of laboratory equipment, quality systems, and safety programs\nTraining of laboratory personnel in testing procedures, quality standards, and safety practices in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies\nOversight of laboratory service activities to ensure program quality, timely results, and high customer satisfaction\nIdentification of improvement opportunities to align laboratory operations with business objectives and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones\nCoordination with external organizations (e.g., contract laboratories)\nOptimization of turnaround time for sample processing requests\nDevelopment and implementation of innovative methods and practices within the technical competency group at CS Center Europe\nCollaboration with internal and external partners on experimental design, process development and optimization, and validation strategies\nReview and approval of test requests, supporting documentation, and reports; assurance of accurate documentation and compliance with safety protocols\nSupport for laboratory tours, stakeholder visits, and training activities for internal and external partners\nEngagement with the external scientific, technical, and regulatory community to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge, equipment, and processes\nExperience Requirements / Competencies:\nSuccessfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Engineering, or a related technical field\nExcellent analytical, presentation, and communication abilities\nBusiness fluent in English (spoken and written), proficiency in German, French, Spanish, Polish, Italian or Korean is an advantage\nExperiences in technical service and method development, preferably in organic/inorganic/surface analysis is a plus\nProfessional experience at a plastics manufacturer, in processing of thermoplastics or research and development of polymers would be beneficial\nStructured, responsible, independent and proactive way of working\nConfident handling of common MS Office programs\nConfident handling of all hierarchies, customers and suppliers\nDistinct analysis and teamwork skills, customer, service and solution-oriented work attitude\nExcellent assertiveness and problem solving\nWillingness to travel 50 % within EMEA and a class B driving
