(LGCTA) is actively searching for aRaw material / MRO ProcurementSpecialist to join our team in Clarksville, TN. The Raw material / MRO ProcurementSpecialist will be an individual contributor reporting to the Procurement team and be responsible for assisting,sourcing new vendorsand expediting toacquire Raw material or MRO product.\nThis position is based full time in Clarksville, TN and is not a remote role.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nEssential Functions (include but are not limited to):\n\nAdministrative: \nPrepare and issue purchase orders and agreements\nRequest for Quotation (RFQ).\nSupport Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).\nCreate Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE) with detailed price analysis.\nRenew the contract if a Change Order occurs.\nControl shipping documents(BL / IV / PL) from partners and managing payment for partners.\nSource quality suppliers and complete bidding process total cost of ownership perspective.\nDrive supplier capability enhancement through strategic support and development programs.\nTrack supplier production schedule aligned facility requirement. If necessary, realign and expedite supplier’s schedule as needed.\nProcurethe MRO material and maintain stock amount Manage receipt, shipment and settlement for MRO material.\nReport sourcing / procurement status for management group and stakeholders.\nNegotiation Skills: \nDevelop and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing for the company.\nResolve discrepancies and invoice problems.\nRequires persistent and continuous work to address supply chain challenges.\nQuality Focus: \nResearch and identify prospective new equipment suppliers.\nLiaison with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.\nEvaluate products and suppliers according to key business criteria.\nEnsure all contract are based upon and meet standards.\nManage huge data based upon consistency and integrity\n\nData Analysis \nPrepare reports and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records.\nMonitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns\nEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.\nQualifications, Skills and Experience: What We’re Looking For\nRequirements:\n3+ years of experience in Raw material procurement. Proficiency in international trade regulations and the handling of chemical substance imports and exports.\n3+years of experience leveraging strong negotiating and influencing skills with Raw / MRO material. \nExperience in Battery, Battery Materials or Chemical Industry is a plus. \nWorking knowledge and understanding of an ERP system. (SAP experience preferred)\nPreferred Qualification/What We’d Like to See:\nExcellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation \nProficiency in the use of PC and Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word etc.)\nExcellent analytical ability to effectively analyze production data.\nExperience working with global company. \nWork Environment\nThe working conditions (including the general work environment, and table with physical/mental demands) in this job description reflect the typical conditions you can expect while performing the essential functions of this job.
