Working within the dispatch department, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, labelled, and shipped on time. As the final point of contact with our products before they reach customers, your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure an excellent customer experience.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their skills in logistics, warehousing, and distribution.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAccurately pick products from warehouse locations to fulfil customer orders.\nPrint shipping labels, courier documentation, and associated paperwork.\nLabel, package, and prepare products for dispatch in line with company procedures.\nBook shipments with a variety of courier providers and ensure all dispatch information is correctly recorded.\nComplete basic administrative duties, including updating records and maintaining accurate documentation.\nReceive incoming stock deliveries and accurately book stock onto company systems.\nEnsure all orders are processed and dispatched within agreed timelines.\nMaintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when handling products and documentation.\nFollow company Health & Safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.\nSupport the wider operations team with general warehouse and logistics activities as required.\nUndertake IATA and ADG Dangerous Goods packing activities following completion of accredited training provided by an external training provider.\n Qualifications and Experience\nGCSE-level education (or equivalent).\nGood numerical and literacy skills.\nBasic computer skills and confidence using IT systems.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team.\nGood organisational and time management skills.\nPositive attitude with a willingness to learn.\n ABOUT LGC:\nLGC is a leading, global life science tools company, providing mission-critical components and solutions into high-growth application areas across the human healthcare and applied market segments.
