Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for direct team members while partnering with stakeholders to embed continuous improvement as a sustainable way of working across the site.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to capably perform each of the following essential duties:\nLead and deliver Process Excellence projects, ensuring measurable and sustainable improvements in cost, quality, productivity, service, and operational performance.\nPromote a safe workplace and 5S culture through audits, continuous improvement activities, and role-modelling best practices.\nAnalyze, map, and optimize business processes, including supporting the development and standardization of SOPs and work procedures.\nDrive performance improvement through effective KPI management, visual management, and structured follow-up on performance gaps.\nIdentify, prioritize, and implement improvement opportunities using Lean methodologies, Kaizen events, and structured problem-solving techniques.\nPartner with Finance and key stakeholders to validate, track, and deliver realized business benefits and savings.\nMaintain Process Excellence standards, methodologies, documentation, reporting, and project governance.\nCollaborate with site and cross-functional teams to share best practices, align improvement approaches, and support cross-site initiatives.\nBuild continuous improvement capability by coaching employees and leaders, promoting frontline ownership, and embedding CI as a way of working.\nProvide day-to-day leadership, coaching, performance management, and work prioritization for direct team members.\nPartner with leadership to identify and execute improvement priorities aligned with business objectives.\nPerform other duties and participate in additional projects as assigned, including occasional travel.\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, Chemistry, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nC1/C2 German is an absolute must\nExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a technical, manufacturing, laboratory, supply chain, or operational environment.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required, Black Belt preferred\nDemonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.\nStrong knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies.\nExperience leading improvement projects and supporting change implementation.\nExperience facilitating Kaizen events, process mapping workshops, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving activities.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nAbility to influence, collaborate, and build effective relationships across functions and organizational levels.\nExperience developing, monitoring, and interpreting KPIs and performance metrics.\nStrong organizational, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n ABOUT LGC:\nLGC is a leading, global life science tools company, providing mission-critical components and solutions into high-growth application areas across the human healthcare and applied market segments.
