This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the development of innovative, market-ready diagnostic solutions from concept through to launch.\nWhat you'll do:\nDevelop and deliver end-to-end programme plans for complex NPD projects, aligned with strategic priorities\nLead, encourage, and coordinate cross-functional teams to bring new products to market efficiently and effectively\nManage timelines, resources, budgets, and collaborator expectations\nCoordinate the full product development lifecycle - from ideation to commercial launch\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks across the programme lifecycle\nCollaborate closely with internal and external collaborators, including customers and senior leadership\nAnalyse market needs and customer feedback to inform product strategy\nTrack key performance indicators and promote continuous improvement\nDeliver progress updates to senior management and cross-functional partners\nChampion clear, consistent communication across teams\n What you'll bring:\nA degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences or a related field\n5-7+ years of experience in programme or project management, ideally in life sciences, medical devices, diagnostics or pharmaceuticals\nProven success delivering complex, cross-functional projects or programmes\nStrong working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.)\nExpertise in budgeting, risk management and collaborator engagement\nOutstanding leadership, communication and problem-solving skills\nPMP certification or equivalent is desirable\nFamiliarity with manufacturing and supply chain processes is an advantage\nProficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar\n Why join us?\nAt LGC, our purpose is Science for a Safer World, and our people are key to delivering it.
