We believe a company can only be as good as the employees that stand behind it, and in this constantly growing industry, we are always seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team.\nAt this time LGT is currently looking to hire an Engineer Specialist.\nLocation: The right candidate for this role must be residing in South Florida, as this position is fully onsite.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nMust have Landing Gear Experience.\nUnderstand and interpret aerospace technical documents such as CMM's, OHM's, SOPM's, Service Bulletins & Letters, Blueprints Etc. \nCreating work plans for individual parts detailing the required repair process as stated in the OEM technical data.\nVisually & Dimensionally inspecting aircraft components to verify compliance in accordance with technical data (CMM, OHM, Blueprint).\nDetermine applicable repair processes in case rework is required for return to service in accordance with technical data (CMM, OHM, Blueprint).\nPost re-work inspection to verify completion of tasks.\nCreating bill of materials (BOM) for all components to be repaired listing all necessary parts per configuration.\nEvaluates measurement data to determine appropriate tolerances.\nRecommends & implements design changes and manufacturing improvements based on measurement data.\nReviews & approves FAA design packages.\nOrganizes & supervises process improvement teams to develop cost effective manufacturing processes.\nAbility to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results.\nManage major repair development projects, including development of project plans, work scope, budget requirements, task management and certification.\nCollaborate with Team Members at all levels of the organization regarding manufacturing capabilities, production methods, scheduling, etc. to facilitate production throughput while maintaining a high-quality standard.\nMinimum Requirements:\n Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred \nGood planning, organization, and problem-solving skills, mechanical in nature.\nPrior Airbus aircraft experience as an Engineer/Configuration Specialist, with landing gear expertise required.\nMust be able to operate and read precision instruments.\nAbility to read and understand safety rules, procedure manuals, drawings and operating instructions.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.\nAbility to perform mathematics related to dimensional inspections.\nMust have excellent organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.\nAbility to work independently and solve problems.\nMust be detail oriented and execute with a high level of accuracy.\nOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.\nJob Type: In-person, Full-time\nNote: Applicants must be currently residing in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S. This includes individuals with valid work authorization (e.g., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or holders of appropriate work visas).
