have PLC and control systems knowledge \nMust follow preventive safety protocol as establish by the company\nDemonstrate safety awareness throughout workday\nPerform all preventive maintenance tasks\nRequired to troubleshoot, install minor equipment, analyze and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults, including hydraulic and pneumatically operated equipment with little assistance or supervision\nSubmit parts requests by looking up part in manufacturer’s parts book, from parts room shelf or online\nMentor other mechanics to help them perform their roles better and establish a team atmosphere\nPerform welding, plumbing and project work\nProactively work with the team to ensure efficient operation of the equipment\nHelp others at all levels completing any maintenance tasks\nBuild a detailed knowledge of plant equipment operation\nWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned\nMaintain a clean and orderly workspace\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the supervisor.\nRequirements\nBuilding Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements:\nGood written and oral communications skills.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays\nUse of power tools, scissor/man-lifts, hand trucks and forklifts\nUse of diagnostic equipment to properly troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make appropriate repairs\nAble to troubleshoot, analyze and repair including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatically operated equipment with minimal assistance or supervision\nA minimum of three years’ experience working as a Building Maintenance Mechanic.\nAble to lift, support and move 40 pounds.\nAble to operate all machinery and equipment for diagnostic purposes\nAble to read and interpret equipment and site blueprints to promote rapid failure recoveries\nType: Full
