This role is pivotal in shaping the technology landscape that underpins our client experience, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic growth.\nAs a Solution Engineer, you will translate business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology designs. You will partner closely with stakeholders across the business and Group Technology to deliver integrated solutions that align with our global standards and local priorities.\nYour Impact & Contribution\nProvide hands-on support during build, integration, and deployment phases, including prototypes, reference implementations, and technical troubleshooting.\n\nLead end-to-end solution architecture across the full project lifecycle from requirements and conceptual design through to build, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.\n\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand needs, constraints, and strategic objectives, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with long-term goals.\n\nDevelop high-level and detailed solution designs, including architecture diagrams, integration patterns, data flows, and security considerations.\n\nEvaluate technologies and platforms, recommending options that balance cost, scalability, performance, and alignment with Group Technology standards.\n\nEmbed “security by design” principles into all architecture and design activities.\n\nCollaborate with engineers, developers, and Group Technology teams to validate and refine solution designs.\n\nSupport functional and non-functional testing to ensure solution integrity and performance.\n\nProduce high-quality documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials for operational teams.\n\nContribute to the technology strategy, design standards, and continuous improvement of engineering and delivery practices.\n\nSkills & Experience\nDemonstrated hands-on experience in building and developing technology solutions, including configuration, integration, and automation activities as required.\n\nDeliver technical support and guidance throughout solution implementation, assisting in the resolution of design and build challenges.\n\nExperience designing and architecting business-critical systems in complex environments.\n\nStrong ability to collaborate, elicit requirements, and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.\n\nBroad knowledge of IT technologies, cloud platforms, integration patterns, and security principles.\n\nExcellent technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear architecture and design documentation.\n\nProven experience working alongside engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\n\nTrack record of improving design, development, or delivery processes.\n\nAbility to align technology decisions with business strategy and long-term objectives.\n\nAnalytical, structured problem-solver with strong attention to detail.\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and proactively.\n\nCommitment to continuous improvement and innovation.\n\nQualifications\nTertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\n5+ years’ experience in solution design, architecture, or technical consulting roles.\n\nCertifications in cloud, architecture, or design frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) are advantageous.\n\nLGT Wealth Management is committed to the ongoing development of their employees.
