This is not a traditional design role. We are seeking someone who thrives in ambiguity, uncovers unmet customer needs, and transforms insights into compelling product opportunities that create meaningful value for both customers and the business.\nThis role is part of LHH's central Product Design team. The initial focus is on innovation projects for students, graduates and early-career professionals, with work across our design system, research and other product initiatives over time.\nAs a Product Designer, you will take new product concepts from discovery through prototype, pilot and validation, working closely with the product lead and with engineering, marketing and business stakeholders to bring ideas to life. You will combine strong design craft with an experimental mindset, using research, prototyping and data to test assumptions and show what works, what doesn't, and why. Comfortable synthesizing complex inputs into practical design solutions, you will keep the design work connected across workstreams so concepts move smoothly from idea to execution.\nThe ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, skilled in user research, journey mapping, prototyping, and experience design, with a passion for testing assumptions and learning quickly. You leverage AI and emerging technologies to accelerate research, concept development, and experimentation, and you are energized by the opportunity to create innovative solutions that help the next generation navigate their education, career, and professional growth journeys.\nReporting Relationships:\nReports directly to the Global UX Design Lead, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Global Head of Innovation Lab.\n\nDirect Reports:\nNone\nLocation:\nThis is a fully remote position, and candidates can be based in any country where LHH has operations. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must be legally authorized to work in their country of residence, as we do not offer visa sponsorship.\nTravel:\nAbility to travel to local or global office on a needed basis. \nIn this role you can expect to:\nKey Accountabilities\nLead the design of new product concepts from discovery through to prototype, pilot and validation. \nOwn the end-to-end user experience across products, services and customer journeys within innovation initiatives. \nConduct user and market research to uncover unmet needs and translate insights into product opportunities. \nSynthesize messy inputs - research, pilot data, user feedback, market signals - into a clear point of view on what's driving value and a concrete recommendation on what to do next. \nCreate prototypes and run experiments to test assumptions, validate concepts and accelerate learning. \nPartner with product, engineering and business stakeholders to develop solutions that are desirable, viable and feasible. \nConnect the moving parts across research, design, marketing, engineering and program delivery - holding the threads together day to day so nothing falls through the cracks as a concept moves from pilot to build. \nUse qualitative and quantitative evidence to measure success, inform decisions and guide iteration. \nInitially focus on shaping and testing new propositions for students, graduates and early-career professionals.\nHow you work:\nComfortable navigating ambiguity and turning uncertainty into clear next steps.\nNaturally curious, with a passion for learning, experimenting, and challenging conventional thinking.\nEvidence-driven, balancing intuition with research, testing, and measurable outcomes.\nHighly collaborative and skilled at influencing and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.\nNice to have:\nExperience designing for B2C audiences, particularly students, graduates, or early-career professionals\nStrong understanding of Gen Z behaviors, motivations, and digital expectations\nExperience working in startup, scale-up, or innovation-led teams\nPassion for emerging technologies, AI-driven experiences, and rapid experimentation\nAll About You\nAdvanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, variables/tokens, and interactive prototyping. Experience contributing to and evolving scalable design systems.\nStrong experience designing user flows, information architecture, and end-to-end customer journeys, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and trade-offs.\nHands-on experience leveraging AI-powered design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma Make, v0, Lovable, Claude, Cursor) to rapidly bring concepts to life and validate ideas with users.\nPractical user research expertise, including planning and conducting usability testing, user interviews, and leveraging analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing insights to drive product decisions.\nProven ability to partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers, providing clear developer handoffs and supporting designs through implementation.\nSolid understanding of accessibility best practices and WCAG guidelines, with a commitment to creating inclusive user experiences.\nExperience designing AI-enabled product experiences, such as conversational interfaces, recommendation engines, copilots, or other intelligent and assistive workflows.\nA strong portfolio showcasing shipped products, validated prototypes, or measurable business and and user outcomes, with clear evidence of problem-solving and design impact.\nWhat we offer\nGrowth opportunities within a human resources global leader\nWe prioritize learning to stay agile in an increasingly competitive business environment.\nWe foster an open-minded environment where people spark new ideas and explore alternatives.\nCompensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience and other compensatory factors. \nAboutLHHCTM\nThrough mentoring, coaching, upskilling, and reskilling, LHH Career Transition & Mobility (CTM)creates new possibilities for individuals and stronger talent outcomes for organizations.
