Prior to loading product, inspect truck trailers to ensure they are free from contaminants .Ensure proper material and weight is loaded for each shipment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:\nDemonstrate the ability to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of truck and rail traffic.\nPrior to loading product, inspect truck trailers and railcars to ensure they are free from containments.\n\nEnsure different product types are distributed into the appropriate trucks/rail cars and the proper weight is loaded for each shipment.\n\nFamiliar with different silo product types.\n\nComplete bill of lading for truck and rail shipments.\n\nRegulate coal yard to ensure placement and distribution of appropriate fuel types.\nResponsible for filling fuel bins with the proper fuel blend.\n\nPlan fuel car unloading and organize additional help as needed.\n\nInventory Control\nResponsible for maintaining proper inventory levels of Gyp bags and load out inventories.\n\nMaintain accurate silo inventory measurements.\n\nTraining\nTraining of new employees on equipment related to load out and fuel charging areas.\n\nCross train in other production areas as needed.\n\nMaintenance and quality control\nKeep rail and truck scales clean.\n\nResponsible for maintaining a water free environment from coal unloading pit and scales.\n\nAbility to make minor adjustments to load-out related equipment.\n\nComplete daily equipment check reports.\n\nAssist in plant cleanup of production areas as needed.\n\nSafety\nPerform all assigned work adhering to Company and governmental safety rules and regulations, including company lock out tag out procedures.\n\nAbility to operate heavy equipment including shuttle wagon, front end loader, forklift, bobcat, and tractor in a safe manner.\n\nAssist Leadman as needed.\nATTRIBUTES\nIndustrial background with good troubleshooting skills.\n\nMust be able perform basic mathematical computations.\n\nAbility to detect potential problems through observation in the field.\n\nMust be able to work shift work, seven days a week including holidays and be flexible to schedule changes.\n\nMust have a telephone and be open to call-outs.\n\nDemonstrate the ability to operate computers and related controls.\n\nSelf-Motivated and must be able to work independently.\n\nMust be able to multi-task and be calm under pressure.\n\nGood decision making skills regarding safety.\n\nPhysical Demands include, but are not limited to:\nMust be capable of working shift work, overtime, seven days, or holidays, if needed\n\nAble to lift over 50 pounds\n\nDemonstrated skills of heavy equipment operation a plus, but minimum as demonstrated for an over the road haul truck\n\nHistory of safe operation of vehicle as demonstrated on driving record\n\nEffectively communicate and interact with supervisors and peers\n\nMust be able to perform in compliance with all task training requirements\n\nTolerate working outside in severe weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, noise and dust.\n\nAccess all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.\n\nEffectively communicate and interact with supervisors, managers, and peers.\n\nDemonstrate the ability to operate a computer preferred.\n\nRequired Experience: 1-2 years experience in a load out environment.\nRequired Education: High School Diploma, GED Equivalent, or demonstrated skills or ability.\nLhoist North America is proud to offer a highly competitive compensation package designed to support your well-being and future.\nOur benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with paid vacation and sick time.
