As the Sr. Accounting Specialist, you will assist with cost accounting, aid in the month end close process, perform account reconciliations, process accounts receivable/payable transactions, assist with inventory maintenance, and analyze general ledger activity. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time management and strong attention to detail.\nEssential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n· Supporting the daily accounting department functions\n· Support Month end/Year end Close\n· Journal Entries\n· Invoicing\n· Labor reconciliation\n· Balance sheet account reconciliations\n· Monthly/Quarterly/Annual state sales tax filings\n· A/R Collections\n· New customer setup\n· Assisting with state compliance reporting\n· Support the annual CPA review\nRequirements\n· On-site, full-time role in Reading, PA.\n· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred, or equivalent experience\n· Strong attention to detail\n· Excellent time management\n· Strong analytical skills\n· Work both independently and in collaboration with others\n· Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.\nIf you’re looking for an interesting career in a unique industry, contact us for consideration.
