Your work will focus on automating and augmenting sales-related workflows such as RFP/RFI processing, proposal generation, customer-specific solution descriptions, pricing inputs, and knowledge retrieval.\nThis role combines hands-on technical leadership with the opportunity to shape and grow a distributed AI engineering team. You will act as a technical lead for sales-focused AI initiatives and, over time, take responsibility for guiding and mentoring a team of AI engineers.\nYour responsibilities will include\nArchitect and implement scalable AI/ML solutions on Azure (preferred) or GCP, leveraging services such as Azure Databricks, Azure ML Studio, Data Lake Storage, Event Hubs and Functions (or GCP equivalents).\nDesign and build AI solutions for sales use cases such as:\nAutomated RFP/RFI ingestion, classification, and response generation.\nIntelligent document understanding (PDFs, Word, Excel, presentations).\nKnowledge retrieval across product documentation, contracts, and past proposals.\nSales assistant capabilities powered by LLMs.\nDevelop and deploy LLM-based systems using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).\nIntegrate ML and GenAI solutions with enterprise platforms such as CRM systems, document repositories, collaboration tools, and workflow engines.\nDrive the evolution of successful PoCs into robust MVPs ready for adoption by sales and pre-sales teams.\nImplement MLOps practices including CI/CD for ML, infrastructure-as-code, model versioning, and automated retraining and deployment pipelines.\nProvide technical guidance, code reviews, and architectural support to AI engineers, with a growing responsibility for mentoring and leading a distributed team.\nStay ahead of emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks to continuously push innovation boundaries.\nMust-Have Qualifications\nBachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related quantitative field.\n3+ years of experience in ML engineering or AI solution development, ideally with production deployments supporting enterprise or business-facing use cases.\nFamiliarity with Azure data & AI services (e.g.: Azure Databricks, Azure ML Studio, Data Factory, Data Lake, Event Hubs, Functions) or GCP equivalents.\nStrong experience with GenAI systems, including LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, MCP and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).\nFamiliarity with agentic or multi-agent system concepts and architectures.\nStrong programming skills in Python.\nSelf-starter mindset with a passion for innovation and experimentation.\nExcellent communication skills in English; ability to present complex architectures to stakeholders.\nPreferred Skills\nHands-on experience with document AI, NLP, semantic search, or knowledge graph solutions.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines for ML (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or ARM templates).\nExposure to MLOps practices and tools (e.g. CI/CD, model versioning, MLflow, Kubeflow).\nHands-on Spark/Databricks expertise.\nExperience building PoCs and MVPs in AI/ML contexts.\nFamiliarity with data engineering fundamentals for preparing and curating datasets for experimentation and model training.\nDemonstrated experience acting as a technical lead, owning architecture decisions and guiding other engineers.\nWhat we are proud to provide you with\nHybrid working with even only weekly 2 office days and flexible working hours based on core time.\nFinancial benefits such as; an outstanding amount of cafeteria, referral reward and team or individual reward based on your accomplishments.\nCorporate health insurance package at one of the largest private healthcare providers with nationwide coverage.\nCarefully designed career paths, with the appropriate training courses and projects to accomplish your aims such as language courses, tech talks and trainings for your needs.\nLufthansa Group flight ticket discounts.\nWhat’s more, if you are interested in our additional benefits: check out our benefits page.\nOur community is characterized by mutual respect and a spirit of helpfulness.
