You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests for both in-house applications and third-party software, while continuously improving our testing processes and automation coverage.\nYou will work closely with developers, Product Owners, Project Managers and other testing specialists. Your role will combine hands-on test automation with test coordination, process improvement and knowledge sharing. You will have the opportunity to shape our testing strategy and contribute to building a strong quality culture across our products.\nYour responsibilities will be\nAnalyze and understand business, functional and technical requirements and work with stakeholders to clarify acceptance criteria. \nCoordinate testing activities within a Scrum Software Development Team and contribute to the further development of our overall test strategy. \nDefine, maintain and continuously improve the technical and conceptual testing framework used across our products. \nPlan testing activities based on project requirements and identify the appropriate testing effort and approach. \nCreate, execute and maintain manual and automated test cases. \nDevelop, enhance and maintain automated tests for functional, regression and integration testing. \nContinuously increase test automation and improve automated regression test coverage. \nIdentify, document and track defects and ensure effective follow-up with development teams. \nEnsure appropriate test data is created and maintained. \nMaintain traceability between requirements, test cases and defects. \nReview and improve our holistic test concept beyond the individual Scrum Team. \nEvaluate and introduce new testing and automation tools and technologies where appropriate. \nEstablish and support performance and security testing practices when required. \nEnsure testing documentation and artifacts are properly structured, documented and maintained. \nImplement, monitor and continuously improve testing processes and standards. \nAct as a go-to person for Product Owners, Project Managers and testers regarding testing-related topics. \nProvide risk-based testing recommendations and communicate testing status, risks and results to stakeholders. \nOrganize testing-related status meetings and prepare status reports. \nSupport and mentor junior testers and act as a coach and sparring partner for complex testing topics. \nPromote software quality, knowledge sharing and best practices within the team. \nYou are looking for us, if you have\n5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Coordination or Test Management. \nPractical experience withtest management and defect tracking tools, such as Xray and Jira. \nStrong programming skills in Java - this is a mandatory requirement. \nSolid experience in API testing and hands-on knowledge of tools such as Postman, Bruno or Insomnia. \nGood knowledge of SQL and experience writing and executing SQL queries. \nHands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Playwright, Selenium, Rest Assured, Apache HttpClient, JUnit 5 or TestNG. \nExperience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment. \nA structured and analytical way of thinking and the ability to identify risks and prioritize testing activities accordingly. \nStrong communication and collaboration skills and the confidence to work with different stakeholders. \nA proactive mindset and willingness to continuously improve testing processes and practices. \nVery good written and spoken English skills.\nExperience in the financial sector, such as banking, payments or related areas, is considered an advantage. \nInterest in mentoring colleagues and sharing your testing knowledge and experience. \nWhat we are proud to provide you with\nHybrid working with even only weekly 2 office days and flexible working hours based on core time.\nFinancial benefits such as; an outstanding amount of cafeteria, referral reward and team or individual reward based on your accomplishments.\nCorporate health insurance package at one of the largest private healthcare providers with nationwide coverage.\nCarefully designed career paths, with the appropriate training courses and projects to accomplish your aims such as language courses, tech talks and trainings for your needs.\nLufthansa Group flight ticket discounts.\nWhat’s more, if you are interested in our additional benefits: check out our benefits page.\nOur community is characterized by mutual respect and a spirit of helpfulness.
