This is partially a hands-on role with a clear focus on analytics and product thinking. You'll spend a significant portion of your time on the data yourself: deep-dive analyses, dashboards, business cases, and sharing insights that shape how we make decisions across the company. The rest of your time goes to product thinking, prioritisation, stakeholder management, and leading the team.\nYou'll report to our CTO and line manage the Data team, partnering closely with our Data Tech Lead who owns the technical and infrastructure side. Think of it as the PM-and-tech-lead model: you own the what and why, your tech lead partner owns the how. Together you set the roadmap and priorities for the team.\nPlease note: This role is remote within the EMEA region. Your application will not be considered otherwise.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn the Data team's priorities, intake, and triage; run team rituals including planning, reviews, and workshops\n\nDo hands-on analytics work: deep-dives, dashboards, business cases, and recommendations that change decisions, including data inputs for the weekly report and Monthly Business Review\n\nPartner with Product Managers to embed tracking and success metrics into PRDs, and align the data roadmap with product roadmaps\n\nTranslate business questions from stakeholders into clear specs, metric definitions, and acceptance criteria the team can deliver\n\nAct as the quality gate on analyses, dashboards, and datasets before they reach internal or external stakeholders\n\nCoach and develop the Data team, levelling up team members on problem framing, communication, and stakeholder management\n\nPartner with the Data Tech Lead to co-own the roadmap, making sure infrastructure work serves real business needs\n\nWhat makes a good candidate\n6+ years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data product work, with experience leading people or setting priorities for a small team\n\nExpert SQL: you can pull, validate, and challenge data independently, without relying on engineers\n\nHands-on experience building dashboards and reports in BI tools (Omni, Superset, or similar)\n\nStrong business and product mindset: you use data to find revenue, pricing, or growth opportunities, not just to answer questions\n\nEnough technical depth to be a real partner to data engineers; comfortable discussing warehouse design, pipelines, data models, and trade-offs\n\nProven stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across product, engineering, finance, BD, and C-suite\n\nStrong data storytelling: you adapt the message to technical and non-technical audiences\n\nCrypto/DeFi domain experience: ideally in a data role at a crypto company, or demonstrable deep understanding of the space (cross-chain, DEX aggregation, bridges, or wallets)\n\nComfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift and you'll need to build some of the playbook as you go\n\nNice to have\nPython\n\ndbt and dimensional modelling\n\nSemantic layer design and metric definition management\n\nAI-readiness: structuring data, metrics, and documentation so they can be reliably consumed by LLMs and agents\n\nML modelling experience (forecasting, classification, anomaly detection)\n\nOn-chain data and tooling (e.g. Dune Analytics)\n\nExposure to streaming data (e.g. Kafka)\n\nWe encourage you to apply if you feel your experience and skills equip you for this job but are not listed here!\nCompany culture\nEmbracing the differences\nEmbrace your own differences\n\nRespect and welcome the unique qualities of others\n\nSee others’ differences as an opportunity to grow\n\nOwn it, do it\nOwn tasks end-to-end\n\nHold yourself to a high bar for execution\n\nMake bold decisions, and be accountable\n\nUnderstand your limitations and seek for help\n\nFail forward\nTry - don’t be afraid to fail\n\nLearn - don’t make the same mistake twice\n\nAdapt - grow with the experience\n\nHave fun together\nTake the time to get to know and understand each other better\n\nDon’t take yourself too seriously and keep it light-hearted\n\nFun should be coming from a place of love and respect\n\nWhat you’ll get\nAnnual company offsites - we've explored Thailand, Vietnam, Morocco, and Greece together.
