Murex Functional/Stress Test Analyst - Integration Testing

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Murex Functional / Stress Test Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Murex functional and stress testing, particularly across Back Office (BO) functionality. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Global Markets and financial products, especially Fixed Income (FI) and Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), along with experience in test planning, scenario design, and client requirement validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute functional and stress testing activities for Murex applications, with a primary focus on Back Office (BO) functionality.
- Analyze client and business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Develop test plans and define appropriate test strategies for small to medium-sized Murex changes and enhancements.
- Validate Murex functionality across relevant Global Markets workflows and trade lifecycles.
- Perform testing for Fixed Income (FI) and Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) products and related processes.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and stress testing based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, investigate, and track defects through to resolution.
- Perform root-cause analysis of functional and testing issues and coordinate with Murex technical and development teams.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with client requirements, functional specifications, and expected business outcomes.
- Apply general software testing practices and Murex-specific testing best practices throughout the test lifecycle.
- Support SIT, UAT, release validation, and post-deployment testing activities.
- Coordinate with client teams, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues.
- Provide regular status updates on test execution, defects, risks, dependencies, and overall test progress.
- Maintain test plans, scenarios, test evidence, defect documentation, and testing reports.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 - 10 years of overall experience, with 5+ years of hands-on Murex functional or stress testing experience.
- Strong experience in Murex Back Office (BO) functionality and testing.
- Good functional understanding of Global Markets and financial-market workflows.
- Strong understanding of Fixed Income (FI) and Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) products and trade lifecycles.
- Experience developing test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases for Murex changes and enhancements.
- Strong ability to translate client requirements and functional specifications into test scenarios.
- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and stress testing practices.
- Experience applying general testing standards and Murex-specific testing best practices.
- Strong defect management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience working closely with client teams, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Good understanding of SDLC, testing lifecycle, and Agile delivery practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
