You’ll develop and embed our risk framework, carry out independent reviews, and improve how we identify and monitor risks across businesses and markets.\nThis is a new individual contributor role based in London, working with the risk team and colleagues across countries. You’ll provide independent challenge and practical recommendations to support informed decisions and responsible growth. A key priority will be moving from manual, sample-based testing towards more automated, ongoing monitoring.\nYou’ll gain broad exposure across the organisation, with opportunities to deepen your specialism and shape how the risk function develops.\nWhat you'll get to do:\nHelp develop and update the risk framework, including policies, instructions and risk appetite statements, and support its implementation through training and day-to-day guidance.\nContribute to the annual second-line risk plan, using risk assessments to identify which processes and areas need independent review.\nPlan and deliver risk reviews, assess whether controls are working, and communicate clear findings and practical recommendations.\nHelp automate control testing and key risk indicator monitoring, using systems and AI tools to make oversight more continuous and effective.\nStay close to the business to identify emerging risks, including changes in regulation, market activity and internal processes.\nBuild relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independent oversight: listen to their perspective, challenge assumptions and make risk concerns clear.\nThe interview process:\nScreening call with Chess (Internal Recruiter) (30 mins)\nVideo interview with the Hiring Manager (1 hour)\nCase study interview (90 mins)\nVideo interview with the wider Liberis team (1 hour)\nWhat we think you'll need:\nExperience delivering risk management or independent review work, with the ability to explain your findings and their implications for the business.\nAn understanding of how risk frameworks, risk appetite and controls work in practice, and how second-line oversight differs from first-line risk ownership.\nThe judgement to turn regulatory requirements and risk findings into actionable recommendations.\nThe ability to assess evidence, investigate concerns and reach well-supported conclusions.\nA collaborative approach to stakeholder relationships, with the confidence to challenge constructively and deliver difficult messages.\nThe ability to plan reviews and projects, manage competing priorities and follow work through to completion.\nAn interest in using AI and systems to improve risk monitoring, and a willingness to learn new tools.\nNext steps If this opportunity feels like the right fit for your next career move, we’d love to hear from you!\nEven if you don’t meet every requirement, don’t hesitate to apply or reach out to Chess (Internal Recruiter) on \nOur hybrid approach\nWorking together in person helps us move faster, collaborate better and build a great Liberis culture.
