Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a Compliance Officer role within a Forex company. The individual will be responsible for duties including reporting obligations, business development, internal compliance, financial crime risk prevention and local compliance.

Main Responsibilities

• Assessing and ongoing monitoring of the constant compliance of the company with all applicable regulatory and legislative provisions.
• Ensuring that the company continues to remain in compliance with CySEC’s regulations.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure continued compliance in unison.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements and guidelines and assisting with updating company procedures and policies where necessary, to ensure continued compliance.
• Being responsible for the firm fulfilling their annual obligations and license conditions.
• Guidance and support to business units on compliance/regulatory matters.
• Drafting and updating policies and procedures and preparing reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Economics, Business or any other relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Compliance Officer or Senior Compliance Officer role within the Forex/FinTech industry.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• CySEC Advanced Certificate is a must.
• AML Certificate will be considered a plus.
• Experience with CySEC reporting and deep understanding of CySEC Regulations and MIFID II.
• Ability to take on projects and complete the necessary research.
• Excellent knowledge of the Financial Markets and Investment Services.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• An analytical mindset with excellent organisation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to deliver and complete reports and tasks, fast and accurate within specific deadlines.
