This role is designed to give you meaningful opportunities to grow your data engineering skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.\nYou'll work with Python, AWS and Snowflake to build the data foundations that power pricing and modelling decisions across Liberty Mutual. Along the way, you'll develop practical experience in modern cloud data engineering, learn from experienced engineers, and build the confidence to take on increasingly complex data products and platforms.\nWhether you're looking to deepen your existing data engineering expertise or broaden your software engineering experience into data, this is an opportunity to learn, experiment and progress your career in Data and MLOps.\nExperience and skills we need:\nExperience in delivering software and solutions using Python, SQL and AWS. \nA third level qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or STEM subject and one year of post graduate software development experience in a commercial environment; or current and valid industry recognised certifications and three years software development experience in a commercial environment \nExperience in agile software delivery (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.). \nKnowledge and experience of continuous improvement in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). \nExperience in technical communication with peers and non-technical stakeholders. \nExperience and skills we’d love:\nWe’ve included some further skills and experience that would be great. Apply good security processes such as threat modelling to the code you develop. \nImplement your team’s Engineering Excellence standards when creating solutions.
