The Claims Enablement Analytics team within GRS North America Claims is seeking a Business Analyst to deliver analysis and actionable insights across our North America Specialty Lines, Bermuda, and Canada claims operations. In this role, you will work closely with our Field operation to develop a deep understanding of our Specialty Lines segment, with a primary focus on Healthcare and a secondary focus on Financial Lines & Cyber. You will play a key role in shaping data-driven strategies and delivering recommendations that directly improve operational performance and business outcomes.

We are seeking an energetic, driven analyst with creative problem-solving abilities who will thrive in a complex data environment. In this role, you will perform research, build and analyze datasets, present findings, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive improved business outcomes (e.g., data insights, market/industry trends, feedback from quality assurance reviews, etc.). The ideal candidate is also a strong collaborator who can build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, including the NA Specialty Leadership Team, NAS Claims Process & Insights, Claims Operations, and Underwriting and Actuarial business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Underwriting and Actuarial to deliver claim trend analyses for Healthcare products through Multi-disciplinary Reviews (MDRs); presents findings to GRS Underwriting, Actuarial, and Claim leaders; provides MDR support for Financial Lines & Cyber as needed
• Drives enhancements in Specialty Lines claim reporting capabilities; identifies improvement opportunities and partners with reporting teams to develop standardized tools and reports aligned to stakeholder needs
• Builds a deep understanding for how to actively leverage AI tools to enhance reporting & analytics capabilities
• Develops, modifies and distributes standard and ad hoc management reports/dashboards to better understand the overall business and/or directs reporting partners on such.
• Serves as a dedicated analyst for the Healthcare Claims business unit, partnering with leadership to surface operational trends and insights through descriptive analytics; provides Financial Lines & Cyber leadership with Monthly Operating Review (MOR) support as needed
• Stays current on key industry developments affecting Specialty Lines, particularly Healthcare and Financial Lines/Cyber, and develops subject matter expertise on the factors driving claim trends
• Conducts operational, economic, and financial analyses to identify and communicate profitability improvement opportunities
• Collaborates with the North America Specialty Claims Enablement team to improve data integrity and support strategic initiatives; supports the development of business cases to drive improvements to current practices and procedures

Qualifications

• Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 3+ years of relevant experience to include business analysis work
• Advanced influencing, relationship management & presentation skills
• Displays strong research, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, notably Excel & PowerPoint, and PowerBI dashboards
• Proficiency with AI tools such as (Liberty GPT, Claude.ai, Copilot, etc), SAS and/or SQL, Python
• Strong ability to support change and impart value within an organization
• Proven planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
